DeepSeek reports web and API degraded performance
DeepSeek's official status page reported a service incident on October 1, 2026, in which its web and app chat services and API experienced degraded performance and server errors. Independent monitoring tracked the disruption for roughly two to three hours before normal service resumed. DeepSeek did not publicly disclose a cause.
