DeepSeek Harness v0.2 ships official desktop apps for macOS and Windows
DeepSeek released a v0.2 preview of its open-source DeepSeek Harness agent runtime, adding official desktop apps for macOS (Apple silicon) and Windows x64 alongside the existing web UI and command-line workflow. The update introduces a plugin manager, file and diff review, document and spreadsheet handling, and a scheduled automation-task plugin, and bundles the dsh command so users no longer need a separate Node.js install. The MIT-licensed harness is built on a plugin-first architecture and remains in public preview, with DeepSeek warning that compatibility-breaking changes will follow.
